Horry Georgetown Technical College Dental School

Project Summary

This Dental School includes educational space located at the Market Common Retail Development. Features include 21 dental chair areas, dedicated radiology units (intraoral and panoramic), and specialized labs for simulation and dental materials. The facility houses a public dental clinic where students provide services such as cleanings, X-rays, and fillings under the supervision of licensed instructors. Working within a very limited lay-down area, we constructed multiple lab spaces complete with modern student locker rooms. The M. B. Kahn team delivered a high-quality facility, which is the largest dental lab in Northeastern SC. The facility is LEED® registered and achieved LEED® Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
