Project Summary

M. B. Kahn has delivered multiple data centers, commercial office facilities, renovations, and upfits for BCBS. The new BCBS Percival Road complex is a 560,000 square foot project completed in 4 phases. The fast-track renovation of the Clemson Road location involved the complete gutting and rebuilding of an existing single-story, 55,000-square-foot office building. The renovations included new roofing, new electrical, new mechanical, new interiors, and upgraded exterior finishes. Exterior improvements included new, substantial parapet billboards and a new architectural tower at the main entry. The primary goal for this project was to establish the exterior brand for all future BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina office facilities. All projects were delivered on time and within budget.

With M. B. Kahn on board, we were able to develop a construction plan that started demolition and construction before our project plans were finalized. This fast track approach easily reduced our construction schedule by two months.
