Project Summary

Located on a 62-acre industrial site in Gaston, South Carolina, just outside Columbia, this state-of-the-art facility was developed as Blanchard Machinery’s high-performance parts distribution and heavy equipment service hub for the Southeast. As Blanchard Machinery's largest branch yet, it offers space to service up to 44 machines at once, 11 superbays, 19,000 square feet of shop space, and expanded parts storage within a high-quality, customer-oriented center. The industrial complex supports parts distribution operations, heavy component rebuilds, complete machine rebuilds, and advanced technical support services for large-scale equipment fleets. The project included approximately nine acres of heavy-duty concrete paving designed to accommodate high-volume industrial traffic, oversized equipment movement, and long-term operational durability.

M. B. Kahn served as the General Contractor, collaborating closely with the architect team and Owner’s Representative LCK to successfully deliver this complex industrial and distribution center construction project. This project demonstrates M. B. Kahn’s expertise in industrial construction, equipment service facilities, distribution centers, and large-scale manufacturing support environments throughout South Carolina and the Southeast. Through a collaborative construction approach, M. B. Kahn successfully coordinated with multiple stakeholders to meet operational requirements and specialized infrastructure needs, delivering a high-performance facility tailored to the owner’s long-term growth and operational goals.
