Beaufort Memorial - Okatie Medical Pavilion

Project Summary

M. B. Kahn served as the General Contractor for Beaufort Memorial Hospital’s new 70,000-square-foot, three-story outpatient medical facility in Okatie, South Carolina. Located on a 19-acre campus owned by the hospital system, the project expands access to high-quality healthcare services while supporting the region’s growing population through a modern, patient-centered healthcare environment.

Designed to meet the operational needs of a leading healthcare provider, the facility includes primary care, OB-GYN, orthopedics, and urgent care practices, along with regularly scheduled specialty clinics for cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, vascular surgery, and neurology. The project reflects M. B. Kahn’s expertise in healthcare construction, medical office building development, and complex healthcare facility coordination.

The building also houses Beaufort Memorial Hospital’s second full-service cancer center, developed through a partnership with MUSC Health and Alliance Oncology. The center provides comprehensive oncology services including radiation oncology, medical oncology, chemotherapy, and infusion therapy in a state-of-the-art treatment environment designed to enhance patient care, comfort, and efficiency.

From site development and healthcare infrastructure coordination to specialized medical spaces and advanced building systems, M. B. Kahn delivered a high-performance healthcare facility that supports long-term community wellness and the evolving needs of healthcare administrators and providers across the Southeast.
